WAITLISTS
-
Every approved adopter will be given the opportunity to join a waitlist for male or female ratties. The option to join is included on the adoption application.
-
Only one waitlist may be joined, as we do not adopt out rats to homes with both males and females.
-
A $5 fee/deposit is required in order to be placed on a waitlist. This deposit is non-refundable, but will be applied to the reservation fees for any ratties chosen. This deposit expires after 12 months.
-
Adopters will be added to the list as they request to be added (first-come, first-added basis)
-
First name, last name and email address are required in order to be placed on the waitlist. Adopters will be contacted via email when it is their turn to choose babies.
-
Waitlisters will have 24 hours to either select and reserve rats, or pass. If they pass, they will keep their current spot on the waitlist.
-
Once a waitlister has made a reservation, they will be removed from the waitlist. If they want to get back on the waitlist, they will need to pay another $5 deposit.
-
-
If every person on the waitlist passes on a rattie, that baby when then be posted on the Available Rats page for other approved adopters to reserve
-
**If I do not receive a response from a waitlister after reaching out with adoptable rats 5 times, they will be removed from the waitlist. Waitlisters can, however, pass on rats as many times as they like and keep their spot on the waitlist -- but I require communication/confirmation that they still wish to remain on the list.
